Human Development Index Pegunungan Bintang Regency 2017

The concept of human development is measured using a basic three-dimensional human approach, namely longevity and health, knowledge, and a decent standard of living. The dimensions of longevity and health are represented by indicators of life expectancy at birth. The knowledge dimension is represented by indicators of school-old expectations and average length of school. Meanwhile, the dimensions of living standards are worthy of being represented by per capita expenditure. These three dimensions are summarized in a composite index called the Human Development Index (HDI).The HDI rate of Pegunungan Bintang Regency in 2017 amounted to 43.24 increased from 2016. This figure is included in the category of low development performance. Mountains Bintang HDI in 2017 is ranked 27th out of 29 Regencies / Cities in Papua.
